PressFriends began by working with the Realizing Amazing Potential (RAP) afterschool program at Roosevelt Elementary School in Lawndale Elementary School District during the 2008-09 school year to help them develop their own school newspaper called the Roosevelt Times.  PressFriends is continuing to work with the RAP program at Roosevelt Elementary as well as adding in more schools.
