PressFriends mentors are middle and high school students who are required to go through training in order to participate.  Once you finish this training, you can sign-up for mentorings.  We have about 50 volunteer opportunities each year and currently work with four Title I elementary schools in the South Bay of Los Angeles, the Boys & Girls Clubs of LA Harbor, two public libraries, and the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium.  

We have PressFriends clubs at Peninsula High School, Palos Verdes High School, Mira Costa High School, and Vistamar School, and work with most of the youth service groups in the South Bay.
